The Grainer 6" warm boot from ECCO is a beautifully rugged option in the winter ankle boot world. The rich uppers are made with ECCO's Hydromax construction and water-repellent oiled nubuck or leather, aiding in keeping you dry. The uppers are also produced using ECCO's own DriTan method, which drastically reduces the amount of water and chemicals used in the tanning process (which is a lot). Laces help customize the fit, while a zipper helps get them on and off. A plush warm lining keeps you cozy on those cold winter days. A thick lugged rubber outsole provides good traction in less than ideal conditions.
